This Fruit Vines brand design was a revolutionary update, so I wasn't referencing the previous design. But this design had to work well with the Red Vines brand that I had just completed, since the two would appear together on the Fruit Vines packaging. So, I kept the letterforms of the two brands similar, but created proprietary differences to make each brand unique.
